I am Susan, Susan I am. As you can see I have always been a big fan of Dr Suess. How does one go about describing themselves,
what are the things that they most want to present to the world. I would have to say I am pretty average. I come from a small
town in Canada, where I am happy. I work at a job that serves the major critiera...it pays the bills. I am single, not looking,
not thinking about looking. I am a bit of a eccentric which is fine with me because I like eccentric's. It was what I wanted
to be when I grew up and I succeeded.
I share my home with three cats whom I honestly believe think that I am their pet. We amuse each other
quite a lot my cats and I.
I get a great deal of enjoyment out of the simple things in life, reading, walking, listening to music and
learning new things. I try to maintain a relaxed life style....not take things to seriously...and not be to influenced
by the hectic pace the world seems to have set for itself.
I consider myself a pacifistic Rebel, or in other words a contradiction in terms.
Two of my most favourite things are mythical images and movies that you just have to hide your head under the pillow until
the worse is over.
I get a great deal of enjoyment from art and music but really have no all-time favourites. My tastes depend on my moods,
and how my day is progress, or how it is not progressing. Because of my interest in philosophy I am fasinated by ancient
cultures and the beliefs and myths that go along with them.
Echo and Narcissious (painting by milton) Narcissious was caused to fall in love with his own reflection in a pool
for breaking the heart of a suitor. The nymph Echo fell in love with him but could not adequately express her passion because
she had been condemned only to repeat the words of others. Her adoration unrequited, she wasted away until only her voice
remained.
Rainbows are an illusion, a simple refractry bending of light, with spectaculer results. But could we not say also that much
of the things we feel forced to indure are also illusions...a simple refractry bending of perspectives, with negative results...Philosphers
have many times broached the subject the a great deal of our personal sufferings are inflicted upon us by ourselves, perhaps
this is something we should take the time to consider before we imbark upon our next tangent.......
